Soryu POV

Highschooler Soryu has a huge crush on a girl where he wanted to propose to her to go to prom with him. He thought how should he surprise her so she would immediately say yes to him. Soryu went to his best friend Eisuke to ask him for advice.

"Eisuke, I need help for prom proposal to (F/N). I need you to guide her to a secret place where a prom proposal would be held." Soryu explained.

"Heh, of course." Eisuke said and smirked.

MC POV

I was wonderinf if anyone is going to propose to me. *sigh* Seems I won't get the chance since everybody including Soryu think of me as their friends I thought.

"Ne, ne, (F/N), do you have a date for prom?" Mary asked, my bestfriend.

"Nah, I don't think anyone would have me as their date because everybody got their date already except for me. I think I will go without a date and it will be fine by me." I explained.

"I think Soryu doesn't have a date. Hey, maybe he can be your date." Mary said.

"Nah, don't you think about it. I bet Soryu already asked someone to go with him with prom right now and I bet she is way prettier than I am and much more popular than me," I said.

"Oh well, if that's what you wanted. Oh yeah, class is going to start soon. See you at lunch (F/N)! By the way, I want to eat on the school rooftop. See you there." Mary said.

........timeskip..................

At lunch, I went to rooftop because Mary told me to before class starts. I was wondering why there since we always eat in the classroom. I was on the rooftop for a few minutes when I heard music coming from the other side of the rooftop so I follow the music. Then I notice a shadow coming towards me, it was Soryu Oh and he is holding a bouquet of flowers. His friends was with him holding signs that says "PROM?"

"Will you be my date for prom?" Soryy asked while blushing red up to his ears. I was shocked that the most popular guy in the whole school prom propose to me. I burst into tears and said "Yes, of course" and ran to him and gave him a hug and he hugged me back. Today is the best day of my life.

MC POV

It's been six months since I dated Soryu. At first, I thought he was a bit scary but as I got to know to him more, he was actually so sweet. He loves the omelet I made for made every twice a week. Soryu is usually busy with his work that he doesn't have time to spend time with me but I'm okay with it because I love him. But I didn't know this was going to hapen soon enough that I didn't get the chance to cook his favorite dish again. It all started when I got kidnapped by the gangsters who hated Soryu when he killed their boss so now they wanted revenge.

"Woman, tell me where Soryu Oh is." Asked one of the gangsters.

"No, I would never betray Soryu even if my life is taken away." I yelled.

"Why you little!" Yelled one of the gangsters.

Then the gangsters punched and slapped me across my body. I thought no matter what I do. I must protect Soryu.

Soryu POV

"Where on earth did she go? Its been an hour and she hasn't appear when I called her." I said.

I love her from the start where I couldn't her alone for one second. I would protect her with all my life.

"Sir, we figure out that (L/N) is kidnapped by a group of gangsters and it seems they wanted you to go to see them alone tonight in an abondoned building outside of the town," Inui said.

"What!!!!!" I exclaimed.

I headed to the door and drove there as fast as I could to save my beloved.

MC POV

It's been two hours sincd I got kidnapped and I hope Soryu come to save me but on the other hand, I don't want me to get hurt because of me.

"Hey Boss, it looks like Soryu Oh is here," one of the gangster said.

Oh no! I thought.

"Well, well, if isn't Soryu Oh, it's been while," the gangster said.

When Soryu spotted me, he wasn't very happy, he saw I was cover in bruises and wounds all over body. Soryu was about to reach for his gun in his breast pocket.

"I wouldn't pull out that gun if I were you or else this woman dies in front of you, " the gangster said.

"Put the gun down," he added.

Soryu did what he was told by putting the gun on the ground and kicked it away. I wanted to save him but my arms are being bind together behind me with ropes and I can barely move at all. I need to save him. I don't care anymore. I have to move. As I was struggling to get up, I gave Soryu the signal with my facial expressions and Soryu got it. I quietly got up and push one of the gangster into the pile of barrels and I managed quickly ran into Soryu arms, it was warm. Soryu quickly untied the ropes and pick up his gun and started shooting. I quickly hide behind the big boxes and the shooting continue. Soryu was so good, that's why I admired him and fell in love with him.

Then I spotted one of them was hiding behind the boxes and was ready to shoot him. I got up without thinking and ran towards him. BANG!! I was shot and I saw Soryu wad holding me in his arms.

"(F/N)!!!!!!!" Screamed Soryu.

Now he is really pissed that he started to shoot at the gangsters. Inui barged in with Mamoru and other policed where they surrounded the gangster and they surrendered. Soryu still held me in his arms. I was slowly closing my eyes and my breathing was getting heavier.

Soryu POV

I didn't know what to do when she was shot. I carried her and ran to the car.

"Hurry!! To the hospital, hurry." I yelled.

"(F/N), don't close your close your eyes. Don't leave me. I don't want to lose you. So stay with me a little longer. Hang on, we are almost at the hospital." I said to her.

When arrived and (F/N) was taken in the surgery room. I waited for her till she comes out. The others came and told me, it's going to be okay.

When light goes off, the doctor told me,, she was lucky that the bullet didn't hit her heart and she will wake up few days later. I was relieved.

I was with her all day and night. I didn't feel like sleeping at all because watching her sleeping, makes me want to watch her all the time.

MC POV

A few weeks later, I slowly open my eyes and found Soryu sleeping by my side while holding my hand. I smiled. Soryu mumbled in his sleep, "don't go (F/N), don't leave me alone in this world. I found someone that I can protect for my whole life so stay with me forever." I smiled at him and kissed him on the cheeks.

Soryu eyes fluttered open and saw me sitting there alive. I smiled and he smiled back. He hugged me and I hugged him back.

"I heard you mumbling in your sleep. It was cute." I chuckled.
Soryu blushed and kissed my lips so I wouldn't talk more about his sleep talk. I laughed and kissed him back.

"I love you (F/N)!" Soryu said.

"I love you too." I said.
